Pyramid Hot Split Base is a specialist transfer product developed in conjunction with one of the the UK`s foremost transfer printers.
Designed to work in conjunction with the pyramid range of stand alone, plastisol colours, this allows the customer to produce "hot split type transfers" when using conventional inks.
Mixed 30% by weight into the ink, the mixed ink is then printed through a 34T - 43T screen mesh onto a hot split paper. The ink is then dried at no higher than 110 degrees C and then next colour is applied and dried until the design is finished. The transfer is then applied in reverse and transferred at 180-190 degrees C with a medium pressure for 15 seconds.
The paper is then pulled away immediately leaving a nice soft yet opaque print. Check out our other Transfer Printing Products
